The Consumer Watchdog and auto safety advocacy groups are not supporting Tesla Motors for their autopilot cars with deceptive marketing. The consumer advocacy groups are sending letters to FTC (Federal Trade Commission) for review because of misleading advertising by Tesla Motors. The consumer groups are requesting federal officials to fully review the autopilot features in Tesla autonomous cars. Because two Americans died and one is injured because of the Tesla misleading advertisement about the autopilot features. The response from Tesla indicates customers are fully aware and understands of what the car autopilot is about and how it operates. The consumer groups are advocating for state and federal government agencies to fully review therein autopilot features, and appropriately regulate self-driving technology cars.
