The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) employees union is requesting more protections for TSA Officers at local airports. The TSA employees union representative is requesting more protection for TSA Officers before air traveling picks up again. Because TSA Officers are at the front lines for airport security and working to keep the flying public safe at local airports. Including protection from therein COVID-19 health pandemic crisis because of the likelihood of being exposed to it. Including more health care protection for TSA part-time officers regardless of pay increases because part-time TSA officers can lead into full-time employment. As well as PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for TSA Officers to protect themselves from therein COVID-19 virus at airports.
