The San Francisco City Attorney is suing the State of California for allegation of an unconstitutional state violation regarding Uber and Lyft ride-hailing cars. The California governor signed into enacted legislation to allow Uber and Lyft drivers of having one business license to drive anywhere within the state. The San Francisco City Attorney identifies therein enacted law will prevent The City from Uber and Lyft drivers to obtain a local business license. Because it will not become a requirement for Uber and Lyft drivers living outside San Francisco jurisdiction. The local city traffic congestion is worse and partly because of ride-hailing cars on city roadways. The San Francisco city officials are sharing their concerns about therein law, because it offsets funding needs for roadway maintenance and repairs created by ride-hailing cars.
