A woman was sexually assaulted on BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) during this Wednesday night on her way home from San Francisco. The woman boarded BART trains at 16th Street Station in Mission District within San Francisco, and she fell asleep going eastbound and said a man was touching her thigh. The BART Police is investigating the situation and reviewing video cameras on BART trains, and hoping to find the person who assaulted the female passenger. Because the female passenger was not going to report therein assault and supportive people on twitter encouraged her to report the sexual assault situation. Therein sexual assault captured the attention of some BART board members and requested the woman to report it to BART Police - her name will be protected for safety.
