The SJC (Mineta San Jose International) Airport is requesting all passengers and/or airport personnel to wear face coverings as required effective Monday, May 4, 2020. Including airport visitors dropping off and/or picking up passengers when they are inside the airport jurisdiction in South Bay. The SJC Airport visitors who are 6 years old and/or younger children don't have to wear face coverings as required. The SJC Airport approach is to stop the spread of COVID-19 virus and consistent with local, state, and federal public health advisory. Including social distancing and washing hands frequently for airport visitors and/or air traveling passengers. The SJC Airport personnel will post visual signs and audio reminders for people to adhere with therein requirement for protection.
