The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) is partnering with Prospect Silicon Valley to manage transit buses charging elements in the South Bay. The VTA administration purchased 5 electric transit buses and will be charging battery-powered buses through a pilot project. The VTA/Prospect Silicon Valley partnership charging pilot project is funded by CEC (California Energy Commission) and will monitor results for possible usage throughout the state and nationwide. The local software company called Kisensum, developed a systematic charging program for VTA buses aligned with the California electric grid system. This pioneering effort is to have all state transit fleets operate with zero emissions during 2040 to protect our environment.
"This project is critical to move forward with zero emissions in the future for fleet vehicles, and excited to partner with local agencies," said Nuria Fernandez, VTA General Manager. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
