The BART improvement project will closedown 14 station garages effective Monday, December 7, 2020 for therein retrofitting elements to upgrade the lighting system. The first project location will be at Hayward Station garage that will be closed on therein project effective date. The BART improvement project includes lighting fixtures replacement with new lighting controls for energy efficiency. The transit agency project involves 14 station garages for lighting system upgrades as part of their sustainability improvement project.
