The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) receives FTA (Federal Transit Administration) support for therein transit extension project in South Bay. The FTA issued a ROD (Records Of Decision) status for VTA's Phase-II extension project for BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit). The ROD status is a requirement to receive federal funding support for VTA's BART extension project to make it happen. The identified requirement status will certainly put VTA in a strong position for receiving federal funding. The VTA's BART extension project will provide transit services to downtown San Jose and Santa Clara for local commuters. The VTA is applying for $1.5 billion in FTA federal funding to complete the Phase-II planning funds - 70% funding by local and state funding.
"The federal funding is necessary as we come closer to complete a ring of railway around the Bay Area," said Sam Liccardo, Chairperson, VTA Board of Directors. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
