WETA FERRY TERMINAL OPENS WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The WETA (Water Emergency Transportation Authority) ferry terminal expansion project in West Bay is completed and open for services in downtown San Francisco. The WETA administrators joined local and state legislatures to celebrate therein successful ferry terminal expansion project. The WETA terminal expansion project was to maximize therein ferry services capacity and more staging area for emergency purposes in the Bay Area. The WETA ferry terminal expansion project costing amounts to $98 million including local, state, and federal funding for therein project support - project construction started in 2016. The terminal expansion project was developed to withstand 50 years of sea level rise and preparation for climate change when necessary. The ferry terminal expansion project completion will create more service capacity for commuting passengers in the Bay Area.
