The City of Belvedere in Marin County has the worst commuting time during traffic congestion within San Francisco Bay Area. The data information released by MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) shows a resident in Belvedere would take 40.6 minutes commuting to work and longer than the second longest worker commute in Marin County. The Belvedere city officials ratified a study funding amount of $15,000 to help with Tiburon Boulevard traffic congestion. The overall traffic commute within Marin for working commuters may take up to 32.3 minutes, and Bay Area working commuters may take up to 31.6 minutes depending on traffic. The identified funding will certainly help with traffic improvement projects and improved ferry services will also help out tremendously.
