The booming high-rising building developments in The City comes with a cost of drivers sitting in traffic for longer time and cars moving in slow motion. The analysis of traffic arteries within construction areas showing more construction slowed traffic down for cars driving at 9 miles per hour.

The San Francisco Bay Area Tesla Motors company tops General Motors as highest market value and becomes the most valuable automaker nationwide. The Bloomberg published Tesla climbed 3.3% during the beginning of the week and capitalizing to $50.9 billion, and ended value at approximately $64 million over General Motors. It shows the extent of investors sharing their belief into Tesla's vision on electric cars ruling the road in the future. The Tesla company has been treated like an element of a technology stocking market and investors are buying into its ability.

The SamTrans transit services serving San Mateo County is planning public meetings to hear from people regarding transit services in Coastside and Half Moon Bay. The SamTrans staffing will introduce a Coastside Transit Study project regarding district-wide transportation planning efforts. Including the future of SamTrans transit services with a vision and ideas of providing improvement services. The first community meeting is scheduled for April 18, 2017 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Brews and Views in Half Moon Bay.

The SFO (San Francisco International Airport) officials released a statement to relief people's perceptive anxiety regarding airport safety systems. It indicates the License Plate Reader system is for tracking commercial vehicles entering the facility only and not personal vehicles. The cameras usage is expanded from last year to track commercial ground transportation to calculate airport usage fees. The Airport Commission approved to share data information with local law enforcement agencies only for safety protection and usage fees.

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) muni improvement project along Van Ness Avenue started yesterday. The project construction forecast will be from Sunday, April 9, 2017 to Friday, April 21, 2017 and scheduling is subject to change because of bad forecasting weather conditions. The construction crews will start removing the Overhead Contact System powering the muni buses from Market to Sutter streets. The local travelers within therein construction areas are advised to take alternative routes to avoid traffic problems.

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) Express Lanes Program is making progressive relief for traffic congestion in Silicon Valley. The VTA Express Lanes Program has been operating since March 2012, and more express lanes will be implemented within Santa Clara County. The five year program has been showing success for drivers time savings at 30% along highway State Route 237 (SR237) between North First Street in San Jose and Highway 880. The drivers without passengers can use express lanes and pay a fee while other carpool vehicular drivers can use it for free.

The AC Transit (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) has operated therein Flex Services pilot project for two weeks and showing excitement. The one-year pilot services project started Monday, March 27, 2017 and it's a dynamic reservation based transit services project. The Flex Services project is an alternative transportation for local residential passengers to eliminate waiting time for regular AC Transit buses. It operates during daytime from 6 AM to 8 PM Monday to Friday excluding holidays and designed for smaller 12 passengers seating shuttles.

The California legislation to fix crumbling San Francisco Bay Area roads and highways as well as statewide has been approved. The next step is for Governor Jerry Brown to sign it and becomes active, and California drivers have to pay more to drive in the state. Because the SB1 (Senate Bill-1) legislation means people have to pay more taxes and more money to register their cars. The SB1 approved state legislation is targeting to raise $5.2 billion a year during 10 years.

The red lanes improvement project in San Francisco is showing more safety benefits for pedestrians and drivers being cautious on the street. An independent study findings were based on SFMTA's (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) improvement project to save pedestrians and bicyclists including traffic control. The red bus lanes along Mission District had many red-hot debates and finding out more positive benefits versus negative.

The San Francisco Bay Area is planning for growth in coming years and completed Plan Bay Area 2040 draft for public review. The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) and ABAG (Association of Bay Area Governments) officials released a strategic Plan Bay Area 2040 for next two decades. The MTC and ABAG have been sharing information with public input thereafter two years of discussions and will share the draft during open house sessions.
