The local commuters in San Francisco rely on muni buses and railway trains for transportation, and sometimes the muni system is unreliable especially for working class people. The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) has been working on improvement projects to make the system better for passengers. Unfortunately, the NextBus technology app system was recently out and displaying inaccurate information for passengers.

The developers in San Francisco will have to face new rules for project developments in The City as changes are ratified by the Land Use and Transportation Committee. The committee will present the new changes to the Board of Supervisors for approval next week, and hopefully with new amendments will generate new ways to minimize traffic congestion. The new rules will have developers consider the number of parking spaces for cars to have control of traffic in San Francisco.

The Bluegogo International Inc. is planning to have their bicycles available in San Francisco for people to rent and use as necessary. The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) and SFPW (San Francisco Public Works) departments sent a warning letter to Bluegogo's CEO (Chief Executive Officer) sharing some procedural concerns. The Bluegogo CEO, Gang Li received the letter from therein city agencies regarding operational information. Including how bicycles will be stored in public, operational permits, etc. to have Bluegogo bicycles legally operate in San Francisco.

The vehicular traffic congestion on highways and local roadways continue to get worse in San Francisco Bay Area, and local transportation agencies are planning a subway in Santa Clara County. The proposal subway tunnel for trains will be operated by BART (Bay Are Rapid Transit) administration and work closely with VTA (Valley Transportation Authority). The proposal "J" shaped routing tunnel will run beneath Santa Clara Street in San Jose going north with a terminal adjacent to Santa Clara Caltrain Station.

The Tesla Motors have been under investigations because of a driver's death situation while using the autonomous vehicle autopilot feature. The Tesla autonomous car driver Joshua Brown was killed while driving his car in autopilot mode into a semi-truck trailer in Florida. The NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) officials announced their investigation is closed for Tesla Motors autopilot car feature. The NHTSA agency 13 page investigating report details the driver was killed, and was likely distracted without doing anything to prevent the accident.

Many people were protesting the president inauguration within San Francisco Bay Area this Friday morning and 11 were arrested in San Francisco. The protesters blocked railway tracks to Caltrain and marched downtown on Market Street during a demonstration and disrupting traffic for working class people. The Caltrain tracks were cleared around 11:30 AM and some protesters were at Immigration Office at Financial District. A group of protesters were at Uber's Headquarters downtown and chained themselves to the front door and Uber employees have to enter from another entrance.

The bad weather conditions in San Francisco Bay Area this week is causing road closures, delaying flights, local train delays, and ferry services disruption. The commuting passengers certainly understands how bad weather conditions can make things harder for working class people everyday this week. A roadway in Glen Park neighborhood in San Francisco is closed and DPW (Department of Public Works) crew members are working to repair and clear rocks on the road. The muni buses are rerouted for line 44 through the Miraloma neighborhood because of other road closures.

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) officials can't come up with an opening date for Warm Springs new station. The BART transportation agency has been delaying the opening of a new station in southern Fremont BART station since 2014. The BART 5.4 miles extension project was initially scheduled to open that year, and delayed opening because of funding limitations. The people have unanimously voted to support a measure this past November elections, and now BART officials are claiming the need for power lines to operate the trains appropriately - still no BART trains in Warm Springs.

The American Airlines announced that customers can start buying new low cost economy fares on February 10, 2017 with flights quickly thereafter final transactions. The world's largest airline carrier is joining other U.S. major airlines to try different variables of low-cost airfares. The airline officials are sharing an idea of giving customers a choice of the kind of ticket they want to buy. The passengers will have access to main cabin features including seating and complimentary snacks.

The Silicon Valley businesses and local residents are sharing their concerns with the transit proposals for transportation in Santa Clara County. The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) administration is revamping transit systems within the county to increase ridership and efficiency. The transit revamping approach draft is without funding allocation from Measure-B approved by local voters. The new transit network design is focusing on expanding more area coverage and serving increasing ridership.
