The County of San Mateo Transit District will not face charges due to allegations of financial improprieties, and inappropriate accounting practice that's inconsistent with accounting financial standards. The SamTrans transit district runs throughout San Mateo County including Caltrain to transport passengers, and because of an investigation by San Mateo County DA's (District Attorney) office due to potential malpractice. Leading into a three month investigation for potential monetary embezzlement, theft, and criminal conduct allegations within the transit district operation.

The San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) is procedurally working on a reliable understanding between the agency and commuters, because some people are complaining about bike riders not obeying approved regulations for their bicycles when on-board BART. When commuters have their bicycles on-board BART, they can store their bicycles within certain BART cars and not inside other cars, and unfortunately, some bike riders commuting on-board BART are not following the approved rules.
