CONSTRUCTION DELAYS HURTING CHINATOWN BUSINESSES IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
The $1.6 billion Central Subway in San Francisco has delayed completion and hurting local Chinatown businesses. The new opening is now scheduled for sometime in December 2019 and almost a year later with contractual differences. Some of Chinatown businesses are not securing financial revenues because of therein Central Subway delays with poor developmental planning. A clothing shop in Chinatown called Hong Kong Outlet opened 25 years ago and financially suffering with limited customers because of the Central Subway construction.
